Biggest Little Things


The collection of ceramic sculptures demonstrates those everyday items that people often overlook.

From a first aid kit to a matchbox, I built these objects oversized in order to highlight the importance of their existence. The significance of the items is evident in dire situations, such as living in a time of war.

While producing these objects, I see conflicts growing among different geographic zones, from Russia and Ukraine to China, Taiwan, and the Asia Pacific. In my ceramic collection, I have included iconic Swedish objects in the hope of connecting with the local audience.

I wish the Biggest Little Things collection would remind people of the struggles faced by people living in war zones or dire times, and that peace and safety are not to be taken for granted.
